Fabio Marchi
Fabio Marchi: The reason I am running is to help our community and our
party. For the 2008 election, I worked on Bob Hamilton's congressional
campaign in the 49th Dist., mainly as a liaison to the Spanish-
speaking community. I am also working on a new club for Latino
Democrats in the North County area. As a state party delegate, I will
focus my actions on working on behalf of our local community. If we
work together on behalf of all of our local communities, we can find
mechanisms to resolve the issues at our state party. I am interested
in having the opportunity not only to represent my community, but also
to grow and learn. One of my intentions is to create interactions
among minorities to find the true needs in our community. I believe we
can seek the right solutions to let people exercise the power of
government because integration in politics is when the people
participate in the community. I will encourage our Democratic leaders
to make proper changes to really represent our Democratic values at
every level of government. That said, I believe we need efficiency
and new leaders for our state party. I have some visions for a better
country and I will take action, for which I'm not afraid to fight and
defend. If I could win a delegate spot, it will make me proud to be
serve for the good of all.
