Legislative and policy change comes from hard work, organizing, fundraising and working with others to get the job done! In the last two years, I have worked tirelessly to bring more of our local citizens into the political process. I founded and lead OC and San Diego Military and Veterans for Obama, which campaigned in 37 states and Puerto Rico collectively. I hosted over 90 constituency-building events; fundraised and coordinated travel for 850+ people and never stopped organizing and working with other Obama supporters on community and philanthropic endeavors. I was honored to represent our 50th Congressional District as an Obama Delegate to the National Convention and I brought our finest asset, 26 local veterans and military family members, to share their concerns with Michele Obama personally. My post-election activities include the Statewide Obama Change Network, North County for Change and La Costa “YES WE CAN” groups; the California Democratic Party's Business and Professionals and Veterans Caucuses, the La Jolla Democratic Club and of course my beloved OCSDMV4O.
