I'm retired from State Civil Service, have raised two children, and have a Bachelor's degree in Education and Master's degree in Public Administration. 

I would like to be a part of assuring that my children and their children continue to see a strong middle class, and have access to universal SINGLE PAYER health care, the right to reproductive choice, the right to marry the person of their choice, and the assurance that our government will vigorously protect constitutional rights.  I'd like to restore a high quality education system complete with arts, sports, and trades skills options.  I believe we need to pursue voting reform, and not get lax just because Obama won.  I support a living wage, worker's right to organize, objective and balanced media, and clean and safe alternative energy.

To address the budget mess, I think we need to move toward more progressive taxation alternatives, and increase the Social Security taxable income level.  I have a history of advocacy for the disabled in the workplace and at the municipal level, and will continue this advocacy if elected 9th AD delegate.
