My name is Gina Rowe , and I’m running for delegate and E-Board Rep of the 5th Assembly District.
I am a progressive Democrat who has worked diligently in our area over the past to elect Democrats to local office, increase voter registration, and bring Democratic values to the forefront. I’m the President of the Wellstone Democratic Club of Sacramento, I’ve been a delegate for the past 2 years, and I’ve attended the last 3 conventions.
Electing Barack Obama as President gives Democrats the opportunity to implement things we’ve been working for over the past 8 years – things like healthcare for all, equal rights, educational opportunity, and economic justice. This won’t happen if we sit back and take it easy, and I want to continue to organize Democrats in our area to make these dreams a reality. I have experience in local politics, and I’m ready to represent our Assembly District at the Executive Board meetings. I will work toward being appointed to a standing committee, and I would be honored to represent our district at the quarterly E-Board meetings.
