It has been an honor these past 4 years to serve the 4th Assembly District as your Progressive Delegate to the DSCC and as Executive board Rep for the past 2 years. I have attended and actively participated in the conventions and E-board meetings and have endeavored to carry the varied voices of our entire district to the State Party. AD4 is a diverse population with a variety of issues and interests including Rural, Environmental, Progressive, Senior, LGBT, etc. I have studied the issues, listened to the people of AD4 and have done my best to bring these issues to the State Party.

We, the grassroots, are gaining a voice in the Party and I will continue to strive to make that voice louder and clearer on the state level. It is our duty to bridge the divide between the State Party and the grassroots. No longer will top-down politics be an acceptable way of doing business in our party. With our united voice from the grassroots to the top we can continue to change the way things are done in this great state of California.

Our rural districts have not been adequately represented by the State Party and without strong, active participation from the rural grassroots we have little chance of gaining their support.

I am dedicated to our Progressive Democratic causes and will continue to devote my time and resources to bring our unified voice from District 4 to the State Party.

I would be honored to continue as a State Party Delegate from the 4th Assembly District for another 2 years and it would also be my privilege to serve our district as Executive Board Representative.
