change in the Calif. Dem Party (CDP).  Experience
is needed to mobilize the energy of the victorious
Obama campaign here locally in Alameda, Piedmont
and Oakland East Bay, across our state's 58
counties, and in all 50 states.  We can turn to
Blue the shrinking number of red and purple
counties and states, by registering every eligible
voter, energizing our Dem Clubs and organizations,
and pushing the momentum of the Obama campaign
forward to 2010.  In the next 2 years, we need to
retake the Governor's mansion, reelect Senate
Chairwoman Boxer, and gain a 2/3 majority in the
Assembly and State Senate to pass a sensible
budget.  We need to fund public education in
Calif. that's sunk to 46th lowest in the US in
per-pupil-spending, improve public transit which
has ridership at an all-time high, and bring our
troops home from Iraq ASAP.  We need open,
transparent party structures, clean money campaign
finance reform, and progressive resolutions and
party platform, which I've spoken for at Dem
Conventions many times.  To accomplish this
progressive agenda, we need experienced, energetic
leadership.  I've served as an attorney,
recruiter, and office organizer for the Obama
campaign in CA, NV, & PA, attorney for the Alameda
County Dem Party and CDP, as well as for over a
decade as an elected and appointed state delegate
from two counties, national Kerry delegate, 16th
AD Rep to the CDP E-Board, President of MGO Dem
Club, founding member of the CDP Progressive
Caucus, 16th AD Dems Chair, 6th AD Secretary,
Board Member of Dem Lawyers, College Foundation,
OCC, several other clubs and organizations, Member
of Wellstone and Environmental Caucus.  I've
volunteered in every Dem Presidential Nominee's
campaign since 1972, including my old classmate
