MY POSITIONS:

Stop corporate control of our party

Vote for peace/out of Iraq now/demilitarize

Net neutrality/protection for a free internet

Return to the Fairness Doctrine to balance news

National single-payer health care system

Adopt serious legislation on global warming, conversion to a "green" economy

Stop privatization of the commons and return ownership of the military, ballot box, prison system, schools, and national forests to the people.

Election protection: open-source software, paper verification, or paper ballots

Instant run-off voting/public funding for elections

 

I am a world history and English teacher at a middle school magnet in LA. I exhibit and publish my photography on various websites and through lindasuttonphoto.com. A lifelong Democrat, I began in politics as the LA Media Coordinator for Jimmy Carter in '76. I raised two Democratic daughters.
