Martha Sullivan: A volunteer organizer for the state and local
Democratic Party for 5 years., I helped found the SD Co. Dem. Party's
Voter Registration Team, whose efforts contributed to our County
“turning blue” for the 2008 general election.  I was first elected
Delegate to the CA Democratic Party in the "Fresh Horses" grassroots
delegation and am a founding member of the CDP's Progressive Caucus. I
am a founding member of the Poway and Del Mar/Carmel Valley Democratic
Clubs, and was the Political Action Director for North County
Democratic Unity in 2005-7, all of which represent my commitment to
increasing Democratic presence in North County.  In the latter role, I
co-founded the SD Co. Dem. Party's Grassroots Organizing (GO) Team in
2005 and was the North County Regional Coordinator until 2007, when
personal matters dictated I scale back my volunteer activities. I
moved from Poway to Del Mar, from the 75th AD to the 74th AD, and I
continued to support Voter Registration Team efforts and am a GO Team
Precinct Leader .   I am committed to supporting grassroots organizers
at the local level for the most effective voter contact, and to
promoting the Democratic Party's historic, progressive ideals in our
changing world., and humbly ask for your vote.
