Ricco Ross

My name is Ricco Ross, I am a father/actor/activist. I have 5 bro  & 5 sis.
My father was the son of a preacher & an athiest, a US  vet, a golden glove
fighter, taxi driver, a hustler (which is just another  name for an entrupernural
in the ghetto) a worker in a slaughter house  factory and died of a massive
heart attack pushing someone else's car out  of the snow while working as a
security guard for minimum wage at a high  school. My mother worked long hours as
a Nurse in mental instituttions for  as long as I could remember. I've been
poor, rich & poor again. This  poor kid left a ghetto but never forgot that
they still exist as well  as the inequities that cause them. I lived 13 yrs
abroad in England,  most of western Europe, a lot of eastern Europe, Africa,
Tailand, and  Japan. Not just as American but as a citizen of the world and for 4
yrs an  illegal alien. All this to broaden my capacity of understanding and yes,
to escape the inequities of America. I surprisingly returned more  patriotic
than when I left. After Sept. 11,  I soon became  tired of complaining about
where our leaders were taking our country &  wanted to be part of finding real
solutions to national and international  problems, so I became an activist.
For the record, we  have see massive corruption in both the Democratic &
Republican Parties. Yet, with the power of the people I still believe  we can move
this amazing experimental government of democracy in a  direction of achieving
its potential. Here are some things that would make  a difference today and
for the future. No more machines only paper  ballots, election Holiday Tuesday
once every 4 years, IRV's, Clean money  elections, funding for pubic trans &
inforstructure. All of which  would create jobs. Force the big 3 car companies
to go electric and green  for bail out. Encourage big oil to help w/ bail out.
Demand a fair and  objective media. Remove profit from War & health care, and
lastly  improve public education, making it equitable w/ better programs,
teachers, equitment, buildings, finance. etc. I humbly ask for your  support.
